Subject: Cocoa Shell Mulch

A couple of days ago I received a message from the  UK about the
death of a dog who ate a few pieces of this environmentally
friendly cocoa shell mulch that apparently contains the dangerous
active ingredient, theobromine.  Apparently it smells very much
like chocolate and this can be a dog 'magnet'.
At the time it wasn't known if this new mulch was available in
the US.   It Is !!!!    We have reports from NJ and CA that it is
available there in some Home Depots.
