That's the way it works in NM, the shelters and rescue 
organizations book a weekend day and take animals for the day 
only.  That's why I thought it was strange that there were no 
representatives there, unless they were out on a break? Petsmart 
is really great about working with Rescue Groups and shelters and 
holding Information Days and adoptathons.  Petco is equally as 
receptive.
