[pyrnet] Pyr in need of home...

Hi!

Bridget here.  I was asked to see what I can do about helping to place a pyr for adoption.  There's a lady in Magnolia Springs, AL who has taken one in because the owner is not able to do it.  Well, the adopted mom's lab does not like the pyr.  (Having now had both I'd rather adopt out the lab! ~ but that's my own opinion)

Anyway, the dog is female, @1yr old, fully papered (or so she said).  I asked about the markings and she said she doesn't really know because she doesn't want to go out and play and visit "the dog" because she might get "attached" to her.  (I think that's exactly what would happen because they are such a wonderful breed.)

If you guys can tell me what I need to do to help her place the dog I would be very appreciative.  If Todd and I had not already committed ourselves to one in Mobile, AL to rescue I'd take her.

BTW...yes we did rescue one.  An eight month old female with very light tan badger markings and absolutely perfect Cleopatra eye-liner.  She is beautiful.  I've not had time to post pics to Pyr-fect Pyrs yet.  If any of you want a pic you can send me a note and your email addy asking for same.

Bear loves her!  To all of you that are "spastic" about "backyard breeders" don't fret.  We brought her home on May 25; took her for a bath on the 26th; made the appt for her spay and took her in for that on the 29th.  So, all's well on the home front.  Yes, I do understand why you are "spastic" and that's the very reason Sugar Bear is spayed.  DUH!  [Above statement not meant to offend any one and deserves no flaming.  Thank you.]

Now, if you can help me place this pyr...I need all the assistance I can get on that one.

Wish you all an absolutely pyr-fect night,
