    I too use Bag Balm - but have recently come across another product
called Musher's Secret - primarily used for sore, cracked paws - but can
also be used on noses and basically any kind of sore - and is said to deter
flies It is 100% natural. I used it on a dog who had sore paws - and they
healed in a matter of days. Although manufactured in Montreal, it is
available through the New England Serum catalogue.
