There have been very serious problems in the Houston area. One Pyr
person I know lost most of her goats and the Pyr that protected them.
And at least one rescue group had to evacuate its shelter. There has
been a fund established to help, but I don't know the particulars.

Perhaps someone from that area can provide more info?
