RE: fw: RE: [pyrnet] Pass the Kleenex

> I did too. Emmett was a foster...now he is a member of the family. And
that is why it is hard for me to foster "Especially Pyr's". I'll just want
to keep them with us forever ...lol Then I would feel badly if they had to
do a shuffle again.

This morning, we took our current foster to Charlotte to hand her over to
another volunteer to take to her new home. All the way up in the car, Tara
calmly laid in the back of the car beside me. When we got to the appointed
meeting place, we all got out, had a walk around and she had a good drink
of water. When Martha arrived, Tara greeted her with her usual licks. We
stood around and chatted a bit, and Martha opened the van door for Tara.
Tara immediately got in and laid down, made herself right at home. When
Martha sat down on the edge of the door, Tara proceded to "wash" her
glasses. She didn't seem to mind at all that she was going to another
place with other people. However, Martha does have this special way about
her, that puts dogs and people instantly at ease.

So, now I'm waiting to hear how she's doing in her new home.
