Re: [pyrnet] new pyr owner
Wow Barb, what good advice--I love hearing stories about our kids and
the Paw thing really got my attention--Sophie reminds me at times of a
cat with her pawing when my husband plays with her--she doesn't do it to
me--she just always wants to bury her head in my lap and be babied,
which I do. The longer I have Sophie (1 1/2 yrs.) the more I adore her
and the breed--it took me awhile to understand them (I'm used to a more
obedient dog) but I unabashedly love her more each day!! She never
ceases to amaze me but sometimes she seems more herding than
guardian--as I said before she took the neighbors Llama home with me
just saying "send her home Soph" afterwards she came back like a very
proud child--also her rounding their horses into a tight circle and only
guiding one back if they broke out of the circle. Does that seem like
typical Pyr behavior? Thanks for all the good advice as usual!! Bonnie
BE HAPPY!!!!!
