Hi,
Gil is out of surgery, and doing fine. No problems with transporting him there, and the vet had no problems with him either."He bit no one", Gil is way more alert than Emm was so I don't think we are going to have any anesthetic problems. The Vet and staff stated he was non aggressive, and a sweat heart. * note. The vet shaved him in some places, and did a nail clipping. We can't bath him for 10 to 14 days...Wow! Didn't expect that one! Going to get flea drops from the vet. Pyrs that are in such a way as Gil...should never be transported long distances right off the bat. It is too Harsh. That is my 2 cents. I will find out more about him when we pick him up this afternoon. I would like to thank everyone who has given cleaning tips, and support. Mer * That was the first time he had been taken out of the kennel run in the whole time he was there, and all the dogs were barking when he got out, and the pound was FULL!..." I had wished for a set of ear plugs" I only saw one empty run where Gil was... that is how full it was, and this is a large facility. There were staff all around, and if they thought he was an aggressive they would have stopped me from adopting him. They gave yard authorization to the family to let the kids stay with him alone. And they see more Dogs than all of us put together. He did not bit me, and I did shame him when he seemed to lurch forward...he was not at any time showing teeth, or growling. Whining yes...growling no. And food got him out of the kennel, and into the yard. |
