Hi List,

Just want to jump in and say that I'm a new owner of an adult (4 year old) 
male.  We live in a very wooded area and have a coyote problem.  Pyrs were 
suggested as the only breed who had the protective instinct but also had a 
soft temperament that is critical to us (we breed Cavaliers) and would be a 
good "nanny" for the "flock."  I just have to say that we are madly in love 
with this boy.  He's everything we hoped for and more.  Yesterday he met an 8 
week old puppy and was so gentle with him!  He plays with toys - he loves 
squeeky things - he tosses them up in the air and catches them!  He gets in 
bed with all of us (2 humans and 7 Cavaliers).  I LOVE THIS DOG!!!!
