RE: [pyrnet] Luna is nudging strangers

Hi Folks,

 

My wonderful Luna is doing something I am concerned about and wondering if others have similar experiences or dog behavior/training advice they can lend.

 

When strangers come over, she barks for a solid few minutes until she realizes they are OK (I usually hug the stranger to let her know they are a friend).  When the visitor turns their back to walk in a specific direction, Luna rushes up and starts nudging them in the behind.  She isn't being aggressive and isn't biting, but one person said they thought they felt a nudge then a nip. When they turn to look at her, she runs away.

 

As I posted several weeks ago, Luna has had a rough life and I adopted her scared, pregnant, and unsocialized.  I am thrilled with the progress we are making, but I am just hoping her "nudging" doesn't turn into something more serious.  Thoughts?
