RE: [pyrnet] Diane Whipple, Bane & Hera...case information

Glancing through this site just reconfirms my belief that it's not the
dogs' fault, but once again man's stupidity and greed when dealing with
these animals. IMHO, it should be the "owners" who are put down, not the
dogs.

Last weekend at our local dog show a match was held. Shania, our Tibetan
Mastiff isn't AKC registered, but can participate in AKC matches. Before
the match started, we were we happened to talk with one of the AKC judges
who had judged at the day's show. She said that several years ago she had
been invited to Taiwan to judge a show there, and that included some 200
TMs. When she arrived, the organisers told her she would be able to touch
the puppies, but not to try to physically exam the adults, for it seems
that TMs in Taiwan are kept aggressive toward strangers. She was quite
pleased to see our girl, who has been heavily socialised (so much so, that
Shania thinks that everyone who comes to visit, is coming to see HER
<VBG>).

So, the point of this diversion from Pyrs -- they are like their owners.
Good owners, generally, produce good dogs.
