I don't know if any of us are in this area. But
have cross posted just in case someone may have seen this senior

A Great Pyrenees, 7 year old, white male, has been lost in the
Thunder Bay area since Dec. 27th. He answers to the name of Winter, and
he
weighs approx. 77 kg. He and his owner, Bryan Coffey were here visting
family when Winter got out from the back of the truck he was riding in.
They live in Salmon Arm, BC and Winter may be attempting to make his
way
back out west. He has been sighted several times along RR tracks
heading
out of town. He seems to be travelling at night. The unfortunate thing
is
that Winter has Lupus so chances are, he will not make it very far.
Winter
has lived in the mountains all his life and is extremely confused by
vehicles and shy of people.
Anyone passing through here heading west, including truck drivers,
please
be on the lookout for this well loved dog. Bryan has been baiting and
leaving scent markings along the tracks and has slept outdoors in his
truck
every night since the 27th at different areas where Winter has been
sighted.
