I had a call at just before 4.00am from Jeanette Hargreaves whose brother has one of my pups. She had just received a call from the RCMP in Prince Albert to say that Claude had been closed in a backyard by some wonderful people who had even fed this ravenous pup. Lance has gone to pick him up and it appears he is in good shape. All I can say is how incredibly marvellous all you dog people are! When the chips are down, boy,do you all show what you are made of! Members of the show hosting club, friends, the public, police - and I could go on and on - and most of you I have never even met - out walking and searching in the cold - phoning and e-mailing with messages of support. I am completely overwhelmed - as are Ellen and Lance. Thank-you all so very much. Special thanks to Ellen and Lance who would have moved Heaven and Earth to find Claude.I am told that Lance never saw a dog so happy to get into a crate as Claude was in the wee small hours! Please pass this message along to other lists where my original message was crossposted. There are many wonderful people out there praying and sending good thoughts to us.
