You're lucky.  I had all my email addresses, all my phone numbers, syllabi, 
tests, Internet favorites and passwords, as well as several photo shoots, 
so it was worth the $2000 to me, but it all could have been avoided had I 
had a backup (and had I known about the IBM drives).  Just wanted to share 
the info and spare anybody else the hassle of having this happen, since I 
know that most people will not spring for the $2k.  I had no choice.
