[pyrnet] Mellow, Valentino on Cats, and
Valentino
just looks at him with a puzzled look on
his face. I think he thinks this dog is a strange looking kind of cat.
As
two of my three cats are about the same size as the boston.
Marie, Valentino and angel Beau
LOL. Sometimes you DO wonder just what goes through their minds at things
like that.
He passed away
on Sunday, March 3rd and we left immediately for WI. On =
Monday morning when we arrived at the house Sasha headed for the
den. =
She emerged immediately looking a little confused and walked down the
=
hall to his bedroom, which is where he passed away (she had never gone
=
in the room before). She made a brief stop in the room, walked out
to =
my husband nuzzled his hand and laid down under the kitchen table with a
=
large sigh. During the following days that we were there she never
set =
foot down the hall. She knew he was gone and would never be coming
=
back.
Caryl, I'm sorry about your father-in-law. Dogs are truly so
perceptive.
just got back
from the vet with mellow. she took xrays and its swollen. he's
still unable to put any weight on it. she took a test for lymes
disease but
she doesnt think its that, the test is just a precaution. for now
she is
calling it a sprain and gave him rimadayl (sp) and he has to keep very
quiet,
not easy with a big goofball baby. for now its a sit and wait and i
do mean
SIT coz its going to be a long haul trying to be quiet.
thanks for the concern.
Hopefully it is just a sprain, but sometimes a sprain can hurt worse than
a break. Luck to you on keeping him quiet. They're not like kids, for
whom you can turn on the tv to keep them occupied. Hopefully he'll be
100% again before long.
