Rimadyl can destroy the dog's liver. It does not always happen,
of course, but it has happened. Just be very careful of that
drug. Some dogs do just fine, others?... It annoys me to no end
that Rimadyl is prescribed in such a cavalier manner, when severe
side effects are known. I've known people who's Vets have
prescribed it for nothing more than a bout of Pano. Most Vets
don't offer to tell the side effects, but I always ask, no matter
what the drug.
