I certainly agree with Pam here and generally with her post.  My real issue
is how cavalier vets seem to be about the use of this drug AND (and
primarily) how many violate Pfizer's own directions and guidelines about
doing blood work on a dog *before* prescribing Rimadyl.  Pfizer went through
a lot of hell over the deaths of dogs due to the drug and issued changed,
updated etc guidelines and package inserts.  Any owner should be able to
trust their vet to follow the maker recommendations on drugs.  That is not
rocket science -- or art.
