I worry about the times when I am not home. I leave Sophie shut in the
kitchen if there is even a slight chance of thunder. I have come home a few
times to a trashed kitchen and Sophie under the table with a sheepish
expression!

Nope. It's for people but can be used for other mammals. I use it
on my cats when they have to go to the Vet. Works like a charm
for me. But, the behavior modification is a very important part
of the equation when dealing with thunderstorm anxiety.
