Tea, here's the info that I have.
<< Folks,
We REALLY need your help! I might have been inclined towards the Art of Quiet, trying to lure this dog out of hiding quietly and calmly---but the situation is urgent! There is heavy equipment in the field where he has been so comfortable, and work crews milling about. Soon as work starts at this site, probably tomorrow, the noise will drive him off. He has been spotted, again and again, but doesn't hang around long enough for anyone to capture. The plan now is to surround the perimeter and drive him towards the tennis courts, and 10 ft fences, so he can be caught. This requires bodies!! Female Pyr walking the area was unsuccessful. Traps were unsuccessful. Efforts to get help from AC or those capable of chemical capture have also hit brick walls. Please, PLEASE come help! Darla is requesting that everyone that can participate come out to the Cracker Barrel at 295 and US 17 in Orange Park tonight around 6 PM. If anyone can participate, please come - bring friends, family, neighbors and join in on this effort to save Boo and get him safe to his new forever home with Darlene. Bring flashlights, bugspray, wear long sleeves and jeans. Smelly treats would be good too. (Anyone have a female in season?? Yeas, he's neutered, but...) If you cannot be there, please send good thoughts, calming thoughts of peace and love so that he knows these efforts are to keep him safe! Thank you! Joan>> |
