Hello, For what its worth, our Pyr (Romy) rarely barks. When he does bark it is for a very good reason. 1) someone is making some unusual noise outside our fence (he is protecting us and alerting us) or 2) using a different bark --hard to describe but I think we all know it-- he wants us to come and play.
