[pyrnet] Do you hear It?

Listen, do hear it --- do you hear the Jubilation, the grand chorus?

It's the chorus of the dogs and cats at the bridge.   They have waited so patiently.  They have waited so hopefully.  They sent out watchers to the very edge.  They new the time was near, and the excitement grew.  They new as only those who have crossed can know.  SHE was coming. Soon they whispered.  And then.... There she was. Walking tall free of pain, greeting her friends. How wonderful to see them, how many there were.  And the noise how joyful. How they are all rejoicing.  Joan has come home, home at last and she has crossed the bridge to be with her friends.  Now, the Pyr's say, now she is home with us and WE can take care of her.  Do not worry, we will always be with her and we will wait for you all to join us.

Are your dogs quiet, mine are.  It is like they can almost hear the chorus.

It is comforting to know Joan is there and she is pain free, but it is always hard to return to god his gifts of love.  We shall all miss her, rescues and human alike.  Not like her family, but still there is an emptiness in the corner of our lives that once was filled with her goodness.  Where there was light, there is now only gray. Now we must work to return the light and goodness, we must do it together. We must support each other, not to replace what cannot be replaced but to help those she would have helped and care for those who can not care for themselves.

Can you hear them, the chorus at the bridge?  Can you share in their joy?

My tears are for this world and myself, still I am thankful for gift of our short acquaintance and her presence in here.
