Re: [pyrnet] Re: thunder

Our girl is afraid of all loud noises. Yesterday they were repairing the
roof next door while we were gone. I returned after 3 hours to find her
cowering in the corner with her bottom covered in diarrhea. I cleaned her up
and tried to comfort her, but the only thing that finally helped was
dragging her over to where the sound was coming from and petting her and
holding her so she knew she didn't have to be afraid. We've had this problem
with wind, thunder, fire works, lawn mowers, and basically anything with a
motor. All I can tell you is they do get better with more exposure. We
adopted her at 10 months and she was a basket case, now at 2 years she Miss
mellow by comparison.
