I agree Tracy- if my puppy and then young adult and then adult had never 
been socialized he would have been much much worse off in all situations- he 
was extremely bonded to me and looked to me in all situations and you are 
right- the more relaxed you are and the less you make a big deal of 
something the more relaxed that the dog will be- and it is crucial to 
socialize a Pyr as much as possible.My point was that each dog is an 
individual and don't be disappointed if they develop or mature into 
something that you did not expect even with all of your socialization- many 
are not the giggle wigglies that alot of people who meet them and see how 
majestic they are expect (they are reserved as their breed type says) and 
because they are a large breed they are a big responsibility- having said 
that, my Pyr was the best dog that I have ever met paws down!!!:)- Ame
