[pyrnet] NOVICE A Obedience

Novice A...

Well, I'm 1 for 3 this weekend. Gracie and I qualified with an 171 at
Ludwigs Corner PA.

NQ'd on Friday at Lums Pond, DE, (she turned into her usual box of rocks for
brains on the off leash, I'm at the other end of "fast" and I look back and
she's just standing there grinning.)

NQ'd on Saturday at Lums Pond, DE, (She pulled the same trick, but I yelled
Heel! Unfortunately I was so far ahead, I did the hand signal to come around
and the judge said that's 2 and you are nq'd.)

Sunday at Ludwigs Corner PA, she just did the heel pattern abet 5 feet
behind me the entire way. I didn't think it was possible to hold one's
breath that long. Judge said we lost a lot of points but we're good, and he
was the nastier of the 3 judges for the weekend!

2 legs down (first leg last year) and 1 to go for the cd...

I think I need my head examined for trying this with a pyr, although it was
fun watching every German Shepard nq on the long down for getting up and
sniffing around while my Gracie sweetly closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Oh and of course, the wife and her corgi got fourth place, fourth place and
third place...
