[pyrnet] Arthritis?

Hi everyone,
    My name is Emily and I used to subscribe to this list a few years ago, but stopped everything fun to finish college and now I'm back! :-) Anyway, my question is regarding my two 7.5 year-old pyr females. Actually, it's just one of them right now, Zuni. Just in the past week or so I have noticed her limping in the front when she gets up from a nap (either from floor or couch). She has generally been able to walk it off, but it seems like she's becoming less able to get over it sometimes. I have started her on two tablets twice a day of Connectin, which is a natural glucosamine/chondroitin supplement, but she hasn't been on it long enough to see if there's a difference. I think this is probably just the beginning of pyr aches and pains, but I don't want to miss something important. What do you think? It's also really hard to identify exactly where it hurts when I manipulate her legs because she was debarked before I got her and can't make any sounds at all.
