LOL, they must be lacking something in their diet. I can't think of
what else would cause them to eat logs. And pumpkin stems? Geesh,
better watch mine this year.

My pyr Zuni is 7.5 and she still loves to chew wood! She'll pick at old stumps
or roots in the bottom of the holes she digs or anything! Her all-time
favorite, and the most hysterical thing I've ever seen, was when she went
after the stems on our pumpkins at Halloween! She rolled those pumpkins all
over the driveway trying to get a good grip on them, and worked until there
was nothing left of the stem -- though pumpkin still intact! So much for
having a good handle for the jack-o-lantern!
