Great idea, I am planting a bunch of new plants this summer, I will have to
try it. I wonder if the dog smell will keep the deer away?

I was reading in one of my gardening books that human hair will keep deers away. Dog might work. Just hang the clippings in a mesh bag by plants you do not want the deers chomping on. Let me know how it works.
