Cost and quarantine from Australia is way too prohibitive for that
unfortunately.  We could likely get a dog out, but would then spend months
getting it back into the country (with a minimum of 30 days quarantine at
least after all the required blood tests etc are performed at hte other end)
Cost all up for the dogs round trip?  Ohhh only about ten thousand dollars
or so <vbg>

You should try it from Australia (about two thousand just for the airfare)
:-(

I wouldnt miss it for the world though, even if I do have to take out a loan
to get there <vbg>.
