Oh yes we have lots of fencing up, that isn't the problem, it is keeping her in it. :)  We are gonna have to redo the fencing though I think..
 
And I really do appreciate everyone's responses..
 
I have several friends here in my area that have Great Pyrs also and their suggestions have been helpful as well.

Janna,
    You could not find a better place to ask questions and get help with Pyr problems. I have learned so much since I joined this list a number of years ago. You presented questions on two fairly well know Pyr traits, the paw and the dis-a pyr, and I am hoping that somebody was trying to be funny in their response. Unfortunately, with emails, it is hard to tell what the intent is. 
    I would strongly suggest that you try to get a fence up as soon as you can. It would be a shame to lose your dog to a car of a farmers bullet.
