It is good to hear the feedback on the
weight issues with Pyrs. Czar is now 3 1/2 and I was very concerned about
his weight hovering around 108-110 pounds. He is a "nibbler" of his food,
and I make sure I feed them only healthy treats on a regular basis and no table
food. However, I took him to the vet for his 3000 mile check up last
Saturday and he is now 128#! The vet said he looks great and he may gain a
few more pounds by the time he is 4, but his weight of 128 is still good.
Even though I still think he looks skinny....

Sometimes, Pyrs just are thin... especially adult males. It helps
to neuter them, but I have battled my adult males for years to keep them at a
decent show weight when they would seem to prefer to be much
thinner! I think that it depends some on specific bloodlines, at
least that has been my experience.
I also have spent $$$ at vet to learn that my dog is healthy, and I
should just feed him more! lol.
All in all, it is a better situation to have a dog on the thinner side
than on the heavier side, so don't sweat it too much. Everyone has their
anecdotal cures for dogs that won't eat, maybe one of them will work for
you!
