Okay folks just got off the phone with a fellow Pit Bull gal. She's
actually ON SITE now at this horrible place. The owner has been court
ordered off the property and there is no animal shelter. My friend
Desiree stepped into help these dogs. She's out there alone right now
pretty hysterical. She said there's 400-500 dogs, Pits, Rotties,
Mastiffs, and much more. Some of these dogs she can't take out of the
crates because they've been in them since their arrival 10 days ago
from Katrina. They're cage crazy and they act pretty agressive. She
was BEGGING AND I MEAN BEGGING for me to come out and help
her.

So....here's what I'm doing. I will call the Sheriff's dept in the
morning to see if we can intervene. Then I have a lead on a source of
money that may be able to fly people out there to get these dogs
comfortable and ready for transport. I can't leave right now as Camp
Pitrina is still in the stages of being put together. I have committed
help from Bobby at New Leash on Life. He has a huge volunteer base.

So any suggestions or offers of help?

Here is the link to the photos that a friend of mine (forpit'ssake)
put together. Very graphic photos.
