Re: [pyrnet] Found in Oklahoma

This morning I reunited the Great Pyrenees with their family. They belonged to someone about a mile and a half down the road. They were very happy to see each other. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for you response Judith. I haven't checked them for a tatoo, but will do that in the morning and I'll borrow a scanner from Stillwater Animal Control (I'm on the local Humane Society Board, so I think they'll loan it to me) after the holiday. That's a good idea. Thanks for forwarding my e-mail to David Haynes.

William,

Thank you for caring about these Pyrs. I have forwarded your message to David Haynes, the GPCA Rescue Coordinator for the Central US. In the meantime, check these two for tattoos, which can be found on the inner ear flap or groin area. Also check to see if they are microchipped. A Vet or local shelter should have a Microchip Scanner. That may help in finding the owners of these two. :)
