Re: [pyrnet] Article on Pyrs

Good Morning All,

I went to the newspaper that published the first article to look for follow
up articles and found the following.

http://www.qctimes.net/articles/2006/02/18/news/local/doc43f6bd96922fd232435573.txt

http://www.qctimes.net/articles/2006/02/16/news/local/doc43f437ddac47a805625815.txt

Ownership of the dogs has been turned over to the state. The dogs may be
available for adoption as early as this weekend according to the reporter.

One of the articles mentions that many of the dogs are AKC registered. If
the paperwork and the dogs can be matched up, I wonder if any of the
breeders have clauses that the dogs must be returned to them if they cannot
be cared for. Is there any recourse against the people who gave the dogs
to this family? This family obviously has problems but so does anyone who
would give a dog to someone in this situation.
