RE: [pyrnet] dog beds

I have to also recommend Dr Foster & Smith - I have 2 of their orthopedic pads - which happen to be on sale this week. Both my Pyr & Lab switch between the pad at the foot of our bed and our bed during the night - I can't believe I sleep through them jumping on and off our bed!

I also have this bed and recommend it. Ella seems to even prefer it to
my bed.

I personally use the orthopedic beds from Drs. Foster & Smith. See the attached link below for more info. I actually have (4) of them in the house, as my Alaskan Malamute has hip dysplasia as well as Addison's Disease, and this helps greatly. My Pyr, Czar uses the beds as well, as they are nice and thick, have removable, washable covers, and can be easily moved from one room to the other. I have a couple of them placed in front of our floor length windows so they can lay on the bed and watch out over their "territory". They absolutely love them and I would highly recommend this brand to anyone with large breed dogs.

Does anyone have any recommendations about dog beds for
pyrs? Eliza is almost nine, and when I picked her up after her last
stay at the kennel she was so sore and stiff. I assume that was from
lying on the cement all the time, and she is much better now.

She does not lie on our tile at home, but sleeps on the
couch when we are not at home (of course, that is not allowed when we
are at home!). And she does enjoy the occasional pile of dirty laundry.

I'm not sure if she (or Olympia) would make use of a dog
bed, but I would appreciate any advice you might have. Thanks.
