Christy, I too know how hard this is for you!  Once you have the 
ultrasound done you will have a better idea of what's what.  You need to 
determine if it's cancer and has it spread.  The ultrasound tech can 
check the other organs and a chest x-ray will visualize the lungs. I 
recently had a complete Ultrasound done on my Czar and I was amazed 
that they could rule out cancer and other diseases completely.  BTW, 
Czar's mysterious illness turned out to be Tularemia <Rabbit Fever> 
from catching Prairie Dogs. Wish we had tested for that first! :(
