I have three dogs, 2 Pyrs and a Pug. Harry the Pug was at the vet yesterday for neutering and when I picked him up they told me they noticed fleas on him. Since all three dogs hang out together, I assume that all three must have some fleas. I am extremely sensitive to a lot of chemicals and have had skin rashes from Advantix or flea collars. Does anyone have a favorite remedy which is less likely to cause me problems? I have not noticed any of the dogs scratching, nor have my husband or I noticed fleas on the dogs or us. Harry has very short hair and I tried really searching through his fur and did not find any fleas, where should I look? The Pyrs had a bath and grooming at the kennel and nothing was said about them, but if I were a flea, I would rather live on them, much warmer.
