I went back to the site to look further – this is a
current site run by a doll maker who includes patterns and instructions for
many of the dolls – not all of the animals though. She is quite
talented. I have a couple of books on doll making by Japanese artists,
they take dolls very seriously in Japan. The half size and full size
dolls are very detailed. The English is quite good but does appear to be
a “second” language by its phrasing certainly better than my
Japanese. From:
