Thanks all. Kodiak has an appointment with our normal vet at 10:45. I truly hope I am overreacting. The main thing is that I just have a feeling. Either way, he is out of heart meds and his rabies shot is due on Jan 4, 2010 so maybe I can take care of those things if his health is otherwise fine.

"Just in case" symptoms become acute - research the location of your nearest veterinary *hospital* - the full-service kind that would be open through the holiday and weekend. These are usually associated with schools of veterinary medicine although some are independent.
