Re: [pyrnet] Question about excessive thirst and frequent yawning

Thanks all. Kodiak has an appointment with our normal vet at 10:45. I truly hope I am overreacting. The main thing is that I just have a feeling.  Either way, he is out of heart meds and his rabies shot is due on Jan 4, 2010 so maybe I can take care of those things if his health is otherwise fine.

Thanks for taking the time to respond on what is likely a busy day for all of us.

Christine & Kodiak

"Just in case" symptoms become acute - research the location of your nearest veterinary *hospital* - the full-service kind that would be open through the holiday and weekend.  These are usually associated with schools of veterinary medicine although some are independent.  Your vet should know the location of the one(s) nearest to you, but I realize this could still be very far away.

Yes please get Kodiak to the vet asap.  It would help if you can get a urine catch to take
along before you go.  Please let us know, you can probably get in today or maybe Saturday
morning if your vet has weekend hours.
