RE: [pyrnet] Cougar and Golden/Pyr-mix?

There was a Pyr / Golden mix at my local shelter a few years ago and she looked like a Pyr dipped in a yellow dye.  Not as dark as a golden usually is, but a distinct yellow.  Everything else about her, including size, was Pyr.  Mom was the Pyr so they were sure about that part.

Goldens are usually very mellow, not as brave as Pyrs, but whatever this dog’s lineage is, she is an Angel.  I hope she makes a full recovery and is not seriously injured.

I believe she was adopted and was probably identified as a golden at that point so I'm sure that is what her family believes she is.

It's really hard to tell from any of the photos. My first impression from one of the pictures was that she looked very pyr-like, but every single thing I've read identifies her as a golden, and some of the pictures seem to look a lot more like a golden than a pyr (even if she is light in color.)
