Re: [pyrnet] Goodbye Ralpie

I'm sorry to hear about Ralphie. Sounds like he had a full life...13 years of love and happiness and then fell into a deep peaceful sleep. I hope I have my Pyr for such a length. I know even that long is never long enough for us, but I'm sure his body was tired and was wanting to rest. Naturally you are going to grieve, but after that process, you can celebrate his life. Pull out the pictures and have a little ceremony for the 13 wonderful years you had with him.

Again, terribly sorry for his passing. (((HUGS)))

I kissed my Ralphie goodbye for the last time at 4:07 PM yesterday. I sat on the floor and cradled his head in my lap while he slipped off his  earthly bonds. After 13 years of love and total devotion, it's going to hurt for a while. It was time, but that still doesn't make it any easier.

At least I still have my Arizona who is doing wonderfully. You guys may remember our cancer scare last summer when we made the decision to operate. I'm so glad I did.

God bless all of you. And please give all your furry family members a great big hug. They are such a blessing to us.
