If there is someone else who can give him a better home-home visit etc. I
would cede to them. I would love to have him. I would like to train him as a
therapy dog, but I also do rescue and have two litters of pups I hope will go
soon and and an adult deaf female Pyr who will be going to her furever home
after two years here. i live in North Central AL and so am not quite as far
away. Having said that, I really feel a connection, but who wouldn't he is so
gorgeous : )

I have spoken with David and am adopting the pup. We are
meeting him in Chattanooga on Thursday morning. (unless something
has changed) He is safe.

He
is gorgeous! I have never seen a mix with such a strikingly
beautiful face. Blue eyed cats tend to be deaf, is it also
related in dogs?
If
it does not work out for him to go to Ohio, let me know and Iâll
find a way to drive down from NH for him, although I can only
guess that there are several people between here and Tennessee who
would grab him up.
Iâve
had a blind dog (Pyr with cataracts in old age), and Iâve had a
dog (Great Dane) who was trained to hand signals although she
could hear perfectly well, and the kennel where my dogs go for
daycare and stay overs has a deaf dog (Dalmation) who
visits. It really all depends on just spending time with the
dog so the dog and the main person bond. Certainly most of
our Pyrs are âselectively deafâ and we still communicate!

TRANSPORT: From Gatlinburg,TN to Cleveland,OH
Ok,
this deaf pyr/ husky pup needs a happy ending! He was
adopted, but returned. There's a lady in Ohio that can take
him but can't find transport. If you want to read the whole
story and see pictures see the link above. If you scroll
down on the site above you will see updated pictures of
him.
If anyone can help, PLEASE let me know so I can
get you in touch with the lady who wants the
pup.
