Re: [pyrnet] Pyr Halloween Costume Ideas???

Do you know I actually thought about that? I mean giving Kodiak a good bath and brushing his coat. Right now his coat is thick and a creamy off white but he is mostly out door so his elbows are brown and stuff like that. His coat can actually get very white and his fur can get a fluffy sort of spikey look.

The folks at the vet usually see him when he looks..shabbier.

By the way, this is a little off topic but I read that you can use baby powder as a temporary fix on a Pyr if his coat is basically clean but a little dull & dingy.

Has anyone ever done that or a similar quick fix?

Hey all~ It's been a while since I've seen any Pyr Mail. I hope this means everyone (and their dogs) are OK rather than my name is off the PyrNet.

Anyway, I always swore I would not dress Kodiak up in ridiculous costumes and such since I personally have always found that degrading for a Pyr. Having said all that, our vet is having a canine Halloween gathering that sounds fun. You can dress your dog up or have duel human/canine costumes.I thought about both of us wearing bunny ears and stuff like that so we could both be rabbits but he absolutely hated wearing the head band. Ditto with sun glasses and bandannas.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas??
