What a sweet image with the donkeys & goats with curious and concerned expressions on their faces.

Best of all was Eli's concern for you overrode Eli's split second chance to dart off.

Worst of all of course was your fall. Take care of your back. It sounds like you landed in a real vulnerable area.

Just have a care is all - especially if you are by yourself. I know you know all that, but still.

I know how gratifying it must have been to have Eli understand the situation and come sit next to you. Something small and sweet sort of changes when your dog acts on the intuition to come to your aid.
