Well, the most blatantly obvious one here is Saving Private Ryan. Its got 
basically everything that fits the mood for WW. It's dark and bleak and 
gritty and realistic. Plus its got those snipers that everyone is so happy 
about (coup de grace at range! Yay!). People tend to die very quickly and 
suddenly, which is what the WW system is trying to promote. Besides, who 
could think of a monster that could be more horrifying than that 20 minute 
intro of the invasion of Normandy?
