If I recall the staged event had them attacking the German Panzers with 
Lances(trying to show how unintelligent non-arians were I guess) and were 
slaughtered.  I actually did some research on this for a happy a few years 
back...This is one of the first screw ups by the German Propaganda machine.  
Instead of this futige making people believe that the Germans were there 
technological advanced war masters and that there enemies were stupid and 
stuck in the stone age,  It actually made the germans look like a bunch of 
Bullies with big guns and it made the Polish Cavalier look brave fighting a 
battle they couldn't win.
