RE: [WW] Class Balance

You can NOT multi from scout, grunt, medic or anything else into an officer
without a commission. So, since you already have a commanding officer, why
would the army (read GM) offer you a commission unless your character was
leaving to head up his own squad. As a GM I would not ever offer anyone a
commission unless the current officer died, or their was no officer to start
out with.

As for the reason to continue to gain officer levels...

We should add this to the errata.

When two officers are present with the exact same rank, the one with the
most experience (measure out of character by xp points and officer levels)
is the ranking officer in charge.

Thus you provide a reason to continue to gain levels in officer.

Besides why would I as a scout ever want a damn officer level. That just
makes me a bigger target for snipers, or people like me.

Hate to post to my own message but I really should read before I respond. I

thought you meant Rank, not multi-classing to officer.

Anyways I thought you could only multi-class to Officer if you roled a 20 on

a promotion role..
