If bite is 100% effective, you've given the werewolves NO incentive
to ever kill anyone.
night 1. A and B bite player C. now we have 3 furries.
day 2. lynch player A, B or C... back to 2 furries.
lather.
rinse.
repeat.
furries win. ALWAYS.
Make it 50/50... and it's still too powerful.
Make it 10% chance of success... and now you have something
interesting.
BUT! What do you do if they fail in their bite attempt?
option 1. they try to bite, and clamp down too hard. player dies.
(ick. still furry advantage)
option 2. player survives the bite, but is not infected with the
lychanthropy virus. Village KNOWS this. and has learned
something (that player X is not a furry)
(interesting, perhaps balanced)
option 3. player survives the bite AND gets a glimpse of one of his
assailants. Whether the village KNOWS who was attacked is
something to be discussed.
(also interesting... but needs more discussion)
