Introduction

Welcome to the network Survival server. The rules of Survival are below. The commands are the same for all pbmserv games.

Survival is played on a hexagonal board made up of 19 hexagons arranged as in Figure 1. Two players take turns placing pieces on the board with the "arrow" of the piece dictating the direction in which the next piece played by that player must be played. The first player who can not move loses.

Each player has 10 identical pieces of their color marked with an arrow that indicates where that player's next piece must go.

  1. Ohs plays first by placing one own piece on any space with its arrow pointing in any direction.
  2. Eks does the same by placing any own piece on any remaining vacant space.
  3. On every subsequent move, each player must place one own piece in turn on any remaining vacant space in the direction the arrow on his or her previously played piece is pointing.
  4. The first player who cannot continue loses the game.
