Matthew DeForrest emailed me (mmdeforrest@worldnet.att.net), asking
about the speculation of JFK in Brave New World. He had a pretty
interesting idea onthe subject, so I thought I'd pass this along to you
guys:

<<JFK has been cited as a possible Brave New World Leader, given the
quotation on the PEG website (although that may have been a hint about
the possibility of a Harrowed President in the HOE timeline).  I
suspect that the shift to a fascist form of government might have
occurred earlier.  JFK's father fell out of favor at the Court of St.
James (his stint as Ambassador to the UK) when, reflecting on the state
of Europe in the 1940s, he said that the era of democracy was over. 
Perhaps it ended in the US as well, with Joseph Kennedy, Sr. becoming
President for life, or some such thing.>>
