Another BNW historical thought:  what if Macarthy's
focus turned from Communists to the newly-
scientifically-discovered "Deltas"?  We could be talking
about a negative campaign against deltas lasting over
forty-five years!

We still don't know the reason why the US was put under
and kept under martial law since the 60s...  It may have
been fear of an uprising, a civil war between Deltas
and normals...  It may have been widespread panic 
brought about both by irrational fear and opportunistic,
sadistic instigators of both the Delta and Normal 
persuasion...

I like it... a universe with an in-built, grand injustice,
and an opportunity to fight back against it...  Some
player teams will seek the retributionary slant, striking
back at The Powers That Be Who Want To Keep The Delta Down,
others will focus on rescuing Deltas from government
prisons or experiments...

...  the underground Defiant videotaped scene of a young
man being yanked out of a hight school by two very heavily
armoured State Police, as he kicks and screams, "What did
I do!?  What did I do wrong?"  He's stuffed into an 
armoured car by a sneering Retrieval Expert (REX) as the
man says, "You were born defective, kid."

...  the startling revelation as Deltas discover the *true*
origins of their difference from the rest of mankind... 
But what is it?  Top secret experiment gone wrong?  
Mankind, finally witnessing evolution in the modern day?
The activation of genetic material leftover from an
era gone by, from an extinct, possibly *alien* ancestor?

Aaahhh...  I can hardly wait!  ;)
